I read it and had the feeling that the Strugatskys were writing about themselves. Oh, yes! And so it turned out.

In my opinion, this work is completely different from all their previous works. A parable novel, a dystopian novel, a philosophical novel. The whole book is a story of people; through the book, you can feel the story of real and living people.

The whole book, in my opinion, everything happens in gray-dark tones. To be honest, I would like to find myself in this world and see how my cuckoo will go, and (will it go)?

What attracts me is the opportunity to try several professions. The book is about a deep search for yourself, a search for your values, a search for your beliefs.

Now I pass every day and every situation through “Experiment”. And against this background, you start thinking about space, and you think, well, this is really an experiment.

The main thing that caught my attention, and what I often see, is that a person can change. Yes, this can happen rarely, and it does not always happen, but it can happen.

In my opinion, it is worth reading this after you have at least read the authors’ books and then you can read this, since the book is quite complex.
